About Andy

With a trusted and authentic sound, voice-over training and experience under his belt, Andy is ready to take on your voice-over project.  Born and raised in Evanston, Illinois, Andy has been involved in the performing arts all of his life.  Since the 1980's when he played the role of Matt in Harvey Schmidt's and Tom Jone's THE FANTASTICKS, he has performed at various levels in on-stage, on-camera, and behind-the-mic roles.  Recent highlights include being the on-camera host of his community's local news program, serving as the Master of Ceremonies at multiple large scale events, and performing with his chorale group and the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap National Park.  In 2008, he volunteered and performed voice-over spots for the U.S. Presidential Transition Team.  Andy received both a BA (Economics) and a BS (Engineering) from the University of Illinois at Urbana.  He earned his MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.  He spent 30 years in the telecommunications industry, a number of them working overseas.  After retiring from the corporate world as a Global VP of Engineering and Operations, he pivoted to serving his local community, Reston, Virginia, as he brews beer and bar-tends at a craft brewery, practices and leads yoga at an area studio, and actively engages in local non-profit work.
